Training Tip #12:
Reinforcement
Any encouragement that reinforces your exercise habit will be beneficial, such as running in a group, experiencing the benefits of the exercise, and in particular, enjoying increased physical fitness. Running is a social activity, and the more benefit you draw from that social interaction, the easier it will be to keep running.
Wondering how to find a running buddy? Here are links to local running clubs who plan informal group runs each week, Run On!'s online communities, and of course, our training classes. Don't forget our free Wednesday night Social Runs at each of our stores. Interested in training for a marathon or half marathon?
You'll find the support and reinforcement you need from the highly qualified coaches in our distance classes that begin on May 31. We have a group within our classes just for you. You will reach your goal with the help of our staff, coaches, and the other runners in your small group.
